The material is to be delivered via Aikakausmedia ADS in PDF format, or direct to Otavamedia’s media sales. The material will be stored for one year. Updated material and contact details are available online at the address www.otavamedia.fi/mediatiedot, in the section called Tekniset tiedot (Technical Information). WWW.OTAVAMEDIA.FI/ MEDIATIEDOT TRANSFER AND CHECK OF ADVERTISEMENT MATERIAL THROUGH AIKAKAUSMEDIA ADS Transfer via Aikakausmedia ADS is fast and easy and the most reliable way to supply magazine material. The system checks all the files received and, in the event of an error, sends an error report to the sender of the material. The advertiser, repro, ad agency, media agency, media marketing department, editorial repro, and printer can monitor the movement of their material in real time on Aikakausmedia’s website. Aikakausmedia keeps all material on its server for at least one year. Tens of thousands of material transfers go through the service annually. Aikakausmedia ADS also offers service via its electronic advertisement reservation system. Reservations, confirmations and definitions are quickly and easily transmitted between the advertisers and magazine houses. Cutting wastage should be done for all edges of the advertisement. Text or other elements should not be placed closer than 5 mm to the clean-cut. The impact of the spine on texts exceeding the spread (3 mm/page) must be taken into account regarding adhesive-bound magazines. Corner marks and other such elements must be outside the clean-cut.
