NOTE 32 – RELATED PARTY TRANSACTIONS During the reporting period, the Group has entered into transactions with related parties on an arm’s length basis as described below: The Group received MUSD 0.4 (MUSD 0.3) from ShaMaran Petroleum for the provision of office and other services and MUSD 0.9 (MUSD 2.0) for supporting certain financial obligations. The Group received MUSD 0.2 (MUSD 0.9) from Africa Oil Corporation being interest on a loan that was converted into shares in the reporting period. The Group paid MUSD 0.7 (MUSD 0.4) to other related parties in respect of aviation services received. In May 2011, Etrion reimbursed a Euro loan provided by the Group which amounted to MUSD 83.0 at the time of the reimbursement. Interest of MUSD 1.5 (MUSD 0.5) was charged on the loan in the reporting period.
