Sivu: 1Sivu: 2Sivu: 3Sivu: 4Sivu: 5Sivu: 6DeterMination oF Materiality oF reporteD inForMation the indicators included in Gasum’s corporate responsibility reporting were selected and determined by Gasum’s internal working group that comprised representatives of our financial, human resources, environmental and security, energy trade and communications departments. a consultant (tofuture oy) was also employed in the determination of materiality. also utilised in this was a survey conducted among Gasum’s key stakeholders. Gasum conducted a stakeholder survey in late 2010 to find out which aspects of responsibility were regarded as the most important by representatives of the Group’s stakeholders. the aspects included in the survey were selected on the basis of Gasum’s ethical principles, the Global reporting initiative (Gri) sustainability reporting Guidelines and, as applicable, the Gri’s electric Utility sector supplement (eUss). responses were received from 107 representatives of Gasum’s external and internal stakeholder groups. respondents were asked to assess the importance of aspects related to Gasum’s responsibility. they were divided into external and internal stakeholders, and their responses were used to identify the most material aspects. the majority of the respondents represented external stakeholders, so the results of the materiality analysis more strongly represent external views. the biggest differences in opinion between external and internal stakeholders were seen in aspects related to Gasum’s employees. internal stakeholders regarded issues related to employees’ occupational diseases, wellbeing at work and absence through sickness as clearly more important than external stakeholders. in addition to this Gri report, personnel-related information is provided in greater detail on pages 22–23 of the Gasum annual report for 2010. the determination of the content of Gasum’s first Gri report and the further prioritisation of responsibility aspects in Gasum’s business are guided by the results of the materiality analysis. according to the materiality analysis, the most important responsibility aspects for Gasum are: 1.
