The reporting period is one calendar year, and this report covers information for 2010. the Gasum Group has not published a specific corporate responsibility report before. instead, we have reported on issues including the environmental impacts of our operations, our economic footprint and human resources information in our annual reports and on our website. We plan to publish our Corporate responsibility report once a year from now on. this report is available in Finnish and english. in our corporate responsibility reporting we rely as extensively as possible on the Global reporting initiative’s (Gri) guidelines, principles, terminology, indicators, calculation methods and structure. the report covers the entire Gasum Group. in addition to the basic Gri indicators, indicators in accordance with the Gri’s electric Utility sector supplement (eUss) are used as applicable to Gasum’s operations. the report covers the Gasum Group’s functions. also included in the report is a description of the production lifecycle of Gasum’s most important sales product (natural gas), in which, however, production and transmission up to the Finnish border are not included in Gasum’s own operations and are therefore not included in Gasum’s reported information.
